The Grillo FX 27's 3-blade cutting deck consistently achieves an excellent finish, whether in mulching mode, suitable for shredding grass with frequent mowing, or in rear-discharge mode, suitable for very tall grass.
The Grillo FX 27 is equipped with a "Quick Shift" lever for changing cutting modes; a practical control located on the cutting unit and operated from the driver's seat allows you to choose between mulching and rear-discharge.
Rear-discharge mowing is convenient when the grass is tall, making it suitable for those who don't mow regularly.
Mulching mowing is ideal for frequent mowing, with medium/short grass, cutting 1/3 of the height, so the clippings can be finely shredded and evenly distributed, thus creating the ideal conditions for nutrient reabsorption and new growth of the lawn.
For proper mulching, it's also important that the lawn is dry and the forward speed is well-regulated, a task that the Grillo FX 27's hydrostatic transmission performs flawlessly.
Mulching can also be performed after an initial pass with rear discharge for a better finish.
