The GZ3 is reliable, simple and safe!

GZ3 is equipped with forward and reverse gears, 80 cm wide tiller and Honda GCV170 engine.

The GZ3 is a compact tiller, ideal for tilling easily even where there is not much space.
The 6-star tiller measures 80 cm, and by disassembling 2 or 4 stars of tines it is possible to reduce the tiller to 57 and 35 cm.
 

The Grillo GZ3 is equipped with active coupling device; the lever on the handlebar, when pressed, starts the rotation of the tines. When the lever is released the tines stop immediately but the engine remains running.
The side discs should not be used when tilling hard soil that has never been tilled yet.
In softer soils, the side discs become very useful: they help maintain direction, advance and protect nearby crops from being tilled.

The tiller is fitted as standard with two different spurs: one is suitable for soft soil whereas the other is suitable for hard soil. The spur adjustment determines the machines working depth.
A low adjusted spur will make the tines dig deeper into the soil.
A high adjusted spur will move the center of gravity forwards and the machine will advance more rapidly.
The use of side discs together with a high adjusted spur will increase the floatation and advance.
The GZ3 is fast, well-balanced and precise!
The oil-bath gearbox ensures maximum toughness and life. It has been completely designed and manufactured by Grillo in their own facility.

The 4.8 HP engine ensures the optimum torque for tilling at 2400 rpm! You can till slowly from 80 – 90 rpm or rapidly up to 155 rpm, depending on the soil's condition and the desired level of soil shredding.
The engine power is no obstacle for the GZ3, even if you till in depth with the tiller at its maximum width and completely sunk into the soil.
The handlebar is side adjustable without the need to loosen screws or turn knobs. This is necessary to avoid walking on the tilled ground or when working close to hedges, fences, or under branches.

The height-adjustable handlebar will reach the needs of all users and the right handlebar position will always be found for each tilling depth.
In addition, the lower handlebar position is useful for moving the GZ3 on the standard front transfer wheel.
The furrower is attached to the rear of the tiller with a spring-loaded pin in place of the spur, so no tools are required to fit it.
Working together with the tiller allows regular furrows for irrigation or sowing.

Cleaning and maintenance is very simple! You only need to check periodically the engine oil level and clean the filter. The gearbox doesn't need any maintenance. As with all Grillo products, the GZ3 was designed and built to last plus retain its value over many years. All components, from the simplest to the most complex, are of a high quality standard. The GZ3 is equipped with an engine having a Ready-Start device! All engines feature overhead valves in order to ensure great reliability, low emissions, reduced consumption, high performance and vibration which are reduced to the minimum.
